Color print of a man seated in an interior, painting calligraphy onto a scroll in the right side of the image. There is calligraphy along the left side of the image, and in the top right and bottom right corners. The man is dressed in layers of elaborate robes in shades of green, black, and red. Poems by Kagendō Tsugiho and Seiyōkan Umeyo.
