Description

Dragon chasing pearl; clouds or blossoms. Warp-faced, satin weave, deep blue background. Two pieces sewn together in center. Backing on piece appears newer--either a silk or early rayon (first developed in1920s) Colors are gold thread, peach, yellow gold, royal blue, lighter blue, ecru, green, light blue green. "5-claw dragon denotes royalty." Patterning is very uniform.
