Thirty six log-cabin blocks, each approximately 12 inches square, and each made and signed by a different woman, pieced together, centers are red squares, the rest of strips of various patterns. Diagonal stripes of darker colors and lighter colors, alternating. Friendship quilt; going-away gift which was never used, but handed down through five generations until donated to the museum. Sig: Recto: each quilt block signed in India ink by a different neighbor.
