Description
Literature

Black-and-white, full-length portrait of a young boy (identified as Lionel Tennyson) who is facing the viewer. He is standing in an outdoor environment (exterior of Farringford House), leaning against a large, stone pillar with raised, column decorations around the pillar. He has dark, wavy hair that falls to his shoulders, and he is wearing a long jacket, short pants, tall black boots, and he is wearing a dark scarf tied around his neck. His proper right leg is crossed in front of his left, and his right hand is grasping his left wrist. The background is out of focus.
