Figures in a cloudscape. Two full-length figure embrace on a cloud, wrapped in drapery. The male in blue and white is on the left and wears a wreath of olive branches (Allegory of Peace or Italy?) The female in blue and brown on the right wears a wreath of lilies (Allegory of France?) Below them a brown wolf nurses two children (Romulus and Remus?) At the top two winged children (putti) carry wreaths and gold and white drapery.
