Painted hanging scroll of a large and detailed peacock perched with one leg on a rock that juts vertically from the bottom right. Its left leg is tucked underneath its body while it rests. Its long feathered plumage arches delicately from its body down toward the bottom left of the scroll. A magnolia tree blooms in the background and large blossoms surround the rocky outcrop.
