Black-and-white image of two seated women in profile, facing each other at a table while picking through piles of nuts. There is a small child on each woman's lap, and there is a third child standing behind the table, wearing a long-sleeved, white garment. The women are wearing long-sleeved dresses with the sleeves rolled up to their elbows, and their hair is tied back loosely. There is a dark, wooden door that is open behind the table, and in the top left corner of the image there is a line of laundry hung near the ceiling.
