Exhibitions

A- Brick wall dominates composition at left. Bright red flames fill lower left quadrant, smoke and clouds at top right. A few feet and legs at the far right of the panel, connected to the composition of panel B.
B- Battle scene. Foreground, Chinese men battle with soldiers dressed in white uniforms with red accents, possibly Japanese. A group of men at the lower center fight with swords and guns. Background, just above center, a soldier in red charges forward on a brown horse, sword raised. Behind him are British forces, raising a flag, in red. Additional fighting in background, clouds of smoke fill the air at the top. canon at lower right.
C- In the foreground, Chinese men battle with military men in white, possibly Japanese. Cannon on wheels at lower left. At center right, Japanese forces charge in. Four men surround second canon at upper right, firing. Purple-grey cloud of smoke rises from canon to top center. Hill fades into the distance at the upper right.
