Twelve 8-pointed stars in the center made from multi-colored/patterned triangles and squares. Each star has a saw-tooth border. Border of pink, triangular pieces around the whole center design. Pink trim around the edges. Background, white cotton, variety of roller prints in stars. 12 stars in the sash rather than the block; 2 borders - inner pieced sawtooth, outer plain white; quilting - Clamshell; fan in outer border; binding - Turkey red, straight grain cotton, rather wide, added by machine.
The twelve feather stars in this qult are made up of many colorful calicoes surrounded by a sawtooth border. The shell quilting design fills the white squares.
