Description

Black-and-white, hip-length portrait of a woman in three-quarters view, turned toward the left side of the image. She has dark, wavy, jaw-length hair that is combed away from her forehead and covers her ears. She is holding an artists' palette over her proper right shoulder, and only her left hand is visible, in front of the palette, holding a long, thin paintbrush. She is wearing a loose, white, collared shirt and there is a dark, patterned cloth wrapped around her waist. Her body and the palette create a dark shadow in the left side of the image.
