Black-and-white, bust-length double portrait of two young women (identified as Vivian and Rosetta Duncan) seated in three-quarters view, their faces turned toward the viewer. The young woman seated on the left side of the image appears to be younger, and is seated below the woman to her left. She has short, light-colored, wavy hair that partially covers her forehead and is cut to jaw-length. She is wearing dark lipstick and a gray, long-sleeved shirt with a collar. The young woman seated next to her is seated slightly above, resting the right side of her face on the head of the shorter woman. She has jaw-length, light-colored hair that is parted on the right side of her head and she is wearing dark lipstick. She is wearing a long necklace with several strands of beads, and a dark, velvet, long-sleeved shirt.
