Description
Literature

Black-and-white, full-length portrait of a man in three-quarters view, facing the right side of the image. He is standing in front of a light-colored background, and in the bottom left side of the image part of a bench is visible. The man is wearing a light-colored dress hat with a thick, dark band around the top. He is wearing a double-breasted, tweed coat that is just past his knees in length over a white, collared shirt, gray pants, and shiny, wing-tipped shoes. His right hand is in the front pocket of his coat, and in his left hand he is holding a cane and a pair of gloves.
