Black-and-white image of a woman in full-length, standing in a nature scene, her left side facing the viewer. Her face is turned toward the viewer and she is smiling. Her left arm is bent at the elbow, her hand at waist level and holding the hem of her black dress. She is standing on the bank of a stream, with her left leg stretched outward, dipping part of her foot into the water. The stream curves around the bottom portion of the image, and there are several white flowers along the bank of the stream. The woman's hair is short and curly, and there is a large, white bow on top of her head. She is wearing a black dress that has a white lace collar around the shoulders. She is pulling up the hem of her skirt to show white, ruffled knickers that are mid-thigh length. Her black shoes and white stockings are on the ground behind her feet.
