Black-and-white, hip-length portrait of a woman in three-quarters view, her face turned toward the viewer. She is standing in front of a dark background and her body and face are lit from the right side of the image. There is a thin, smoky line drossing the image horizontally, behind the woman. She is wearing a dark-colored hat and she has shoulder-length, light-colored, curly hair. Her left hand is on her hip, and she is wearing a low-cut, sleeveless, beaded shirt, and there is a long strand of beads around her neck, which falls to her waist. There is a black piece of fabric draped around her left forearm. She is wearing a black skirt that is decorated with a light-colored, satin bow.
