Central motif of multi-colored flowers and grapes, surrounded by scalloped wreath of blue-checkered fabric gathered alternately by a flower or bird. Elaborate floral motif decorates each cornerand is connected to the others by vines of grapes. Stylized layered roses in the center are repeated in corner motifs. "The most elaborate appliqué quilt in the collection." Sig: Recto, in gold thread on white patch on lower right "Rose G. Kretsinger 1945"
