Quilt with white background and purple and pink trim around the edges and a square in the middle. There is a wreath of purple irises in the center of the square and a pair of orchids on each side of the quilt. There are golden butterflies around the center wreath and on either side of the floral sprays around the border.
Realistic orchids, intertwined leaves, and bold butterflies on this, one of Rose Kretsinger's most imaginative designs, inspired by a poster or advertising card of orchids which Rose Kretsinger saw in an ice cream parlor in Emporia, Kansas.
