Two figures in an interior. To the left is a woman (courtesan) kneeling and looking down at a young man kneeling next to her. He is holding the wrist of her left hand with his right hand. His head is down and he looks to the side, reluctant and embarassed. She wears a light pink and salmon colored kimono and he wars a light green and salmon colored kimono. They both have black fabric around the waist, but hers is wider. She has hair combs. There is a candle between them in the foreground and the back side of a gray folding screen in the background. Suggestive subject matter, her red undergarment and a section of her leg are both showing.
