Description

Black-and-white image of a row of buildings in front of a canal, from a frontal view. In the foreground there is water, and tall, wooden poles lining the front of the buildings. The building in the center of the image is fully visible, while the buildings on either side are partially cut off by the edge of the image. The poles in front of the center building are striped white and a dark color. This building, and the building in the left side of the image, are three stories tall, and both buildings have tall, arched windows. The center building has balconies in the center of the upper two stories. The building in the right side of the image is lighter in color and the tall, arched windows are covered with shutters.
