Black-and-white image of a building from a frontal view, in front of a canal. There is water in the foreground with tall, wooden poles lining the front of the building. The sides of other buildings are visible in both the left and right edges of the image, and there is a narrow canal of water along the left side of the building. It is three stories tall, with two pillars and a large doorway on the ground floor. There are pillars along the second story, in front of a balcony and high, arched windows, and a balcony along the width of the top story. The windows on the top story of the building have tall, arched windows, under small, oval-shaped windows.
