The kabuki actor Ichikawa Ebizō in a shibaraku pose wearing an elaborate, red costume with two bold white square patterns on it. Two other actors are behind him on a platform. Flowering sakura (cherry) at top. Blue background. Urushi (lacquer) added to some sections to accentuate the black areas (hair, etc.).
