Bust-length portrait of a woman, dressed in an orange gold dress with lace at the edge and a white bodice. A pink ribbon has been worked through the woman's elaborate coiffure. The woman has light brown hair, blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and a slender neck. The portrait is in three-quarters view, her head turned to the left with her eyes peering toward the viewer. The background is gray. The back is covered with white material over which glass has been placed. There is a metal frame with a bail for suspension.
