Carved wood Apostle, probably once part of altarpiece. The Apostle's cape covers his head and shoulders, then flows freely to the base on the Apostle's right side. On the Apostle's left side, the drapery does not flow to the base, but has been pulled around in front of the Apostle, creating several long, elegant "International Gothis" drapery folds. The top of his head is bald. His face is long and slender with a beard. At the base, the drapery is pulled back, so that the toes of both feet are exposed. The Apostle's left hand is extended forward, and appears that he probably once held a staff. The Apostle clasps his cape with his right hand. The back is flat and uncarved. The Apostle's belt around his waist is exposed.
