Groups of male and female figures separated by a stream. On the right side of the stream are three male figures; two sitting and one standing near a footbridge. The standing figure is holding a fan. On the left side of the stream there are two female figures seen through a window.
Genji, standing by a palanquin, notices a woman appearing in a window across a stream. Genji with 2 retainers (1 holding a sword) wears a coat with Genji symbols. The woman who is with servant wears a patterned coat. Borders with Genji symbols.
