Modestly clothed seated figure with bare feet. Figure associated with Saint Martin. The bishop figure wears a red tunic with a gold mantle lined in blue, now turned almost black. The cover of the book, held in figures proper left hand, is also nearly black, and the edges of the pages are red. A jewel may have been mounted on the cover of the book.
