Event Description
Rania Matar is a highly awarded photographer whose work focuses on girls and women. She was born in Lebanon and moved to the U.S. in 1984. She has since returned to Lebanon to teach photography workshops to teenage girls in refugee camps. Matar currently teaches Personal Documentary Photography at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and is a visiting artist and critic at the University of South Florida. Join her for coffee and conversation about her work and issues related to immigration.
