Event Description
The Goldenberg Duo will present a concert of classical music representative of our universe and the natural beauty of living things. Susan is a violinist with the KC Symphony. William,her brother is Distinguished Professor of Piano at Northern Illinois University. The concert is part of the KCSymphony Community Connections program. Music of Robert Schumann will portray verdant,earthy images of Germany. Music of Astor Piazzolla will evoke "Oblivion" from Buenos Aires. Music of Manuel deFalla will show the rich beauty of Spanish culture and dance. A sonatina by Antonin Dvorak was written in America,depicting lovely pastoral scenes of the midwest.
