Event Description
Come view works for the first time, through a new lens, or in a deeper way, in the new gallery talk series Art in a Global Context: The Museum Collection Across the Curriculum. In the program, KU faculty members from the University's international studies centers are invited to discuss a work of art from the Spencer Museum's collection. Speakers relate themes and ideas to various disciplines across campus. For this session, Professor Marie-Alice L’Heureux from the Department of Architecture and the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies will speak on works by Boris Ignatovich and Osvaldo Louis Gugliemi.
