Exterior. Two men work hoeing rows in a field. In the foreground one man steps forward with his left foot, and raises his hoe up level with his head. Further in the distance the second man has his hoe in the dirt and is bent over it. Beyond the field is a fence, and to the right in the background are rows of buildings. The sky is filled with ribbon-like swirls.
