Image of the front and back cover of a hardback book, rendered so that the book appears to have been opened and laid flat against the picture plane. The title is rendered in black, and occupies the upper portion of the back cover of the book. The cover illustration is of a seascape. There is a cresting wave in the foreground and a ship sailing before the moon/sun along the horizon. There is a single abstracted image of a bird in flight above the crested wave. The cover illustration is rendered in various shades of medium to light green. The illustration extends across the entire cover and is broken only by the carefully printed linear elements meant to indicate the gutters on either side of the spine piece.
