For this pair of prints, Koo encased her body in faux fur that had been dowsed in photo chemicals, and then laid down across a matrix of photosensitive paper. As a result, an image of her body dissolved into the intricate web of fibers and fur, conveying an unexpected sensation of texture. The organic surface of fur and hair that was reflected in various orientations not only enhances the texture of the work, but it also reveals the dynamic aspect of this photographic performance.
